Salary: £44,000 – £47,000 Per annum

Job type: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week

Are you a fun and passionate Deputy or Nursery manager? Our client a well-established nursery based in the heart of Central London, is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to take responsibility for the overall leadership and management of the nursery in the London area. This is a full-time, permanent position for a confident leader who is committed to delivering outstanding early years education and care.

You will lead a dedicated team, ensure full compliance with the EYFS framework and regulatory requirements, and create a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can thrive and staff feel supported and motivated.

Responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.

* Lead, mentor, and develop the nursery staff, ensuring a high standard of practice across the team.

* Oversee the planning and implementation of a curriculum that meets the needs of all children.

* Monitor and evaluate the quality of provision, ensuring continuous improvement.

* Maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.

* Manage purchases and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability and growth of the nursery.

* Ensure the nursery environment is safe, stimulating, and well-resourced, and meets the needs of all children.

* Conduct regular staff meetings, appraisals, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications

* Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent Level 5 is preffered) – essential.

* Atleast 3-4 years of experience within an early years setting.

* Strong working knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework, Ofsted requirements and health and safety regulations.

* Proven leadership and people-management skills.

* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.

* Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high quality care to children.

* Nursery Management: 2 years (required)

* Nursery experience: 5 years (preferred)
