A BRAND NEW MODERN NURSERY BASED IN SE1.
We are collaborative, fun, and inclusive.
Needs a Nursery Chef for Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Chef with a real passion for food. Maryams would like an experienced Chef to join our 62-place nursery in Borough.

The ideal candidate must have:
Has a passion for cooking and Children!
Has some understanding of environmental health standards
Shares our passion for encouraging children to eat healthily
Ability to use initiative
Has a Level 3 Qualification in Food Safety (or is willing to work towards)
Work in co-operation and partnership with the Nursery team and parents to encourage a healthy and nutritious diet
Ensure that budgetary requirements are met
Having an active role in leading the cookery club sessions with children
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children, ensuring adherence to dietary requirements and food safety standards.
Supervise kitchen staff and manage food production processes to maintain high-quality service.
Lead and train team members in culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with other staff to create a welcoming dining environment for children.
