Nursery Assistant - Centre Stafford - Start Date: As soon as possible.

Academics have recently partnered with a private nursery in the centre of Stafford. The nursery is a highly reputable nursery who prides itself on the warm, welcoming and nurturing environment in which they have created. The nursery supports each child's individual development, offering age-appropriate activities which not only expand on but also nurture learning and creativity.

We are therefore keen to hear from an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant who have a genuine passion for Early Years and are committed to helping children thrive and develop on a daily basis.

We welcome applications from individuals with experience in childcare. Above all, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong passion for working with children, alongside excellent communication skills and a caring, proactive approach.

We can offer a variety of long term and daily supply roles, totally flexible to suit your lifestyle.

A Nursery Assistant must have:

* A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the ability support children's learning and development.
* A Level 3 qualification in childcare, such as the Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (essential).
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
* A warm, approachable personality, helping to create a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment for young learners.
* A genuine passion for pursuing a career in childcare, supporting children during the crucial early stages of development.
* Must have or willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS - being on the update service is desired.

Pay: £14.24 - £15 an hour, holiday pay is included in the day rate.
