This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children in a supportive and rewarding environment. Position description / Job description Contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children. Maintain accurate records of children's achievements for parents/carers. Collaborate with parents/carers of children with special needs to ensure full integration. Support all staff and foster a positive team environment. Adhere to all company policies and procedures to uphold standards. Safeguard children by adhering to the company's safeguarding code of conduct. Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members. Participate in out-of-hours activities, such as training and staff meetings. Requirements We're looking for you, if: Enthusiasm for working with young children. Interest in the care, learning, and development of young children. Commitment to providing high-quality childcare. Positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training. Previous experience of caring for or working with children (voluntary or paid). Understanding of Early Learning Goals. Knowledge of National Standards for the regulation of Childcare provision. Good organisational, record-keeping, and planning skills. Excellent communication skills with children, colleagues, and parents/carers. Patience, reliability, and trustworthiness. Positive approach to inclusive practice with children and colleagues. Flexibility to adapt to changing working hours occasionally. Completion of a recognised Level 2 Childcare qualification (or working towards completion).
