Job Description

Are you currently working as a Nuclear Engineer, with a minimum of 4 years experience within the Nuclear/Regulated sector space?\n\nAre you based in the North West and currently have or are eligible for SC level clearance?\n\nWe are currently working in partnership with a well established growing Nuclear Project Management and engineering consultancy, they provide design, project management and consultancy services across the North West, working on large scale major projects within the Nuclear sector.\n\nThis Nuclear Engineer position is North West based and offers a mix of wfh, client site visits and head office.\n\nNuclear Engineer responsibilities:\n\n * Working as part of a Multi-disciplined team to deliver design, analysis and implementation in line with Nuclear safety and regulatory requirements.\n\n * Support engineering project delivery on large scale projects within the Nuclear sector.\n\n * Act as key point of contact with clients, ensuring strong clear communication, scope alignment and stakeholder satisfaction.\n\n * Develop project execution plans, schedules and budgets.\n\n * Ensure compliance with UK Nuclear regulations, CDM 2015 and ALARP Principles.\n\n * Prepare and review technical documentation including safety case input and engineering change proposals.\n\n * Represent the company in a client facing position.\n\n * Mentor junior engineers, offering a supportive and progressive work environment based on continual professional development.\n\nAbout you:\n\n * As a Nuclear Engineer, you will be a a client focused individual, keen to deliver projects to the highest quality.\n\n * A strong technical foundation, with a consultancy mindset.\n\n * Capable of overseeing and managing projects within the Nuclear sector.\n\n * Committed to upholding and enforcing Nuclear safety culture whilst delivering value driven solutions.\n\n * Technically strong and commercially aware.\n\n * Ambitious, hard working and keen to progress your career within a growing ambitious business.\n\nNuclear Engineer Skills and Qualifications:\n\n * Degree qualified in an engineering related discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil etc).\n\n * Ideally registered with a professional institute and working towards CEng, full support will be given to achieve this.\n\n * 4-5 years experience as a minimum within engineer and project management.\n\n * A strong understanding of the Nuclear sector, safety cases, regulatory frameworks.\n\n * Project management certification (APM, PMQ, Prince2) would be advantageous.\n\nIn return this company offers a generous basic salary, paid overtime and travel, bonus and other excellent benefits including hybrid working.\n\nIf this Nuclear Engineer position is of interest and you would like to discuss further or apply, please contact Dean Parry, I am available from 8am-7pm Monday to Friday.\n\nKey words:\n\nNuclear Engineering jobs, Nuclear engineer vacancies, Nuclear engineer jobs Manchester, nuclear jobs Manchester
