We are partnered with a global manufacturer company who are based in Peterborough. The team are looking for an experienced NPI Lead Manufacturing Engineer to support new and updated off‑highway diesel engine programmes.

This will be onsite 5 days a week for a 12 month contract working full time hours Monday to Friday.

The role leads Manufacturing Engineering across the full NPI gateway process (G1–G6), ensuring process streamlining, equipment readiness, and quality compliance through to production launch. Responsibilities include delivering process design, PFMEA, control plans, and standard work, managing tooling and equipment from specification to commissioning, supporting prototype and pilot builds, and working closely with Product Engineering and site ME teams to achieve manufacturing readiness and gateway sign‑off.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing engineering (Preferably in automotive or aerospace industry)
• Strong NPI, programme delivery, or launch engineering experience in automotive or similar.
• Strong PFMEA, control plan, statistical validation, and problem‑solving capability.
