Finance & Commercial Committee - Senior Commercial Expert in Games (Non-Executive Director) Contract: Voluntary Voluntary, unpaid Description We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished senior commercial expert from the games industry to join our Finance & Commercial Committee as a committee member. You will be critical in providing strategic oversight and expert guidance on commercial strategies, revenue generation, and financial planning specific to BAFTA’s engagement with the games industry. You will ideally have extensive experience in commercial leadership within the games sector, with a proven track record of driving growth, optimising revenue streams, and enhancing partnerships in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities
Provide Strategic Commercial Leadership Guide on Revenue Generation and Business Development Provide Financial Oversight and Planning Conduct Market Analysis and Competitive Positioning Ensure Governance and Compliance Committee Participation and Stakeholder Engagement
Term and Time Commitment
Term - 2-year term, maximum 3 terms, i.e., 6 years Meetings - Attendance at 6 meetings per year (minimum), typically held on an 8-weekly basis Additional Commitments - Participation in committee meetings, special events, and other Academy activities as needed
