Job Description
Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor (4+ years)
An opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join a leading Non-Contentious Construction team based in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for someone with 4 + years’ PQE and a genuine interest in construction law, real estate development, or the energy sector.
The role
You’ll support clients on the construction aspects of high-profile development and infrastructure projects across the UK. The team advises on:

Building contracts, development agreements and professional appointments
Bonds, guarantees and collateral warranties
Engineering and energy projects, including onshore wind, hydro, battery storage and solar
\n
You’ll work closely with developers, contractors, funders, public sector bodies and consultants. From day one, you'll be involved in drafting key project documents and contributing to commercially focused legal solutions.
What you’ll bring:

Qualified solicitor (4+ years' PQE) with a strong interest in non-contentious construction
Experience in construction, real estate, or energy law (at NQ level, you should have seat experience in at least one of construction, real estate, or energy law)
Clear drafting skills and attention to detail
A proactive, collaborative approach and enthusiasm for client service
