Job Description

Our client, a major law firm, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its established Construction & Engineering team. The group advises a broad range of clients across the development, infrastructure, energy and public sectors, including developers, contractors, consultants, higher education bodies and major corporates.

The successful candidate will focus on non‑contentious construction work, advising on procurement strategy and drafting and negotiating the full suite of construction documentation. This includes building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, development agreements, and all associated project documentation. The team acts on a wide range of projects including major infrastructure schemes, remediation works, process plant, power projects and complex commercial developments.

The successful candidate will work closely with partners while taking ownership of their own matters and maintaining regular client contact.

About You:

Construction solicitor with minimum of 5 years PQE Strong experience in non‑contentious construction within a recognised firm Strong drafting skills and familiarity with standard forms (e.g. JCT, NEC) Commercial awareness and confidence engaging with clients
