Night Veterinary Surgeon (OOH) – Independent 24-Hour Hospital

The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, RCVS-recognised hospital that has developed into a true centre of excellence. You’ll be part of a supportive and highly skilled night team, working in a hospital environment that genuinely invests in both its people and facilities.
- Full-time role: 7 nights on, 14 nights off
- Shift pattern: 7:15pm – 7:30am
- Work within a dedicated and experienced OOH team
- Exposure to a varied and interesting emergency and critical care caseload

You’ll have access to:
- Advanced diagnostic imaging including CT scanner
- Rigid and flexible endoscopy

The hospital provides a wide range of services including:
- Emergency and critical care
- Neurosurgery and orthopaedics
- Minimally invasive surgery
- Stem cell therapy and chemotherapy
The team includes a strong mix of experienced vets, registered veterinary nurses, and dedicated support staff, creating a collaborative and highly supportive working environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency and inpatient care overnight, working cases up to a high standard and ensuring continuity of care.
This role would suit a vet who:
- Is confident (or developing confidence) in ECC work
- Enjoys a varied caseload
- Thrives in a team-oriented hospital environment
- Is passionate about delivering excellent clinical care
