Looking for a Support Worker role that really makes a difference – even at night?
We’re recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to join a warm and dedicated residential team supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. This is a Support Worker role where your care and calm presence overnight helps children feel safe, supported, and settled.
We have a couple of different night options available (hence the wide salary bracket), which we can explore with you.
What you’ll be doing:
* Being a consistent and caring Support Worker during the night.
* Helping with bedtime routines, emotional support, and personal care if needed.
* Monitoring the home, handling any incidents calmly, and maintaining detailed records.
* Creating a safe, reassuring atmosphere for children to sleep peacefully.
What you’ll bring:
* Experience as a Support Worker (or transferable skills from similar roles).
* A calm, kind and patient nature.
* Confidence managing challenging behaviour with compassion and consistency.
* A genuine desire to support children with complex needs.
