Night Shift Vehicle Technician Shift Pattern: 4 nights per week | 5:30pm – 4:30am

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Night Shift Vehicle Technician to join a busy, well-equipped workshop. This role is ideal for a technician who works well independently and takes pride in producing high-quality work during overnight operations.

You will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring vehicles are prepared and ready for daytime operations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards

Diagnose and rectify faults using diagnostic equipment

*

Complete MOT preparation and inspections (if qualified)

*

Ensure all work is completed accurately and within allocated times

*

Maintain clear and accurate job cards and documentation

*

Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards

*

Adhere to health & safety procedures

*

Maintain a clean and organised workshop

Requirements

*

Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ / IMI Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

*

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician (dealer or independent)

*

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

*

MOT Tester qualification (desirable, not essential)
