To support this growth, a brand-new night shift is being introduced, creating an excellent opportunity to join from the start. We are now looking for an experienced Night Shift HGV Mechanic to help maintain a large, modern fleet of over 300 HGVs and plant. The Role You will play a key role in keeping the fleet safe, compliant, and roadworthy during night operations. Working in a clean, well-equipped workshop, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs with a focus on quality and safety.

Your Responsibilities · Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs, trailers, and associated plant · Mechanical fault-finding and repair work (electrical knowledge an advantage) · Carrying out routine inspections and safety checks · Diagnosing and rectifying defects to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy · Completing job cards and maintenance paperwork accurately · Handing work over clearly between shifts · Maintaining high workshop, housekeeping, and health & safety standards
