Night Shift Engineer - Food ManufacturingMulti SkilledPermanent night shift (12 hours)Overview - Night Shift EngineerA leading manufacturer is looking to hire a Night Shift Engineer to maintain the machinery and equipment on the busy night shift. As a night shift engineer, you will be joining a structured maintenance department where you will ensure the factory is running up to speed and production levels are maintained. You will also have a good chance to be a key player in proactive and planned maintenance to prevent future breakdowns. Responsibilities for the Night Shift Engineer Proactive maintenance and site PMsReactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quicklyWorking across both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenanceWorking on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine outputAdhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site Requirements for the Night Shift Engineer Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subjectExperience working in a Multi skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineeringAbility to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
