To be responsible for the Set Up and effective operation of the process machinery in order to achieve production targets and quality standards. To adhere strictly to Hygiene, Health & Safety requirements and maintain safe working practices. The successful candidate will begin by working as a factory cleaner to gain a better understanding of the Machine Minder role. Shift pattern: Hygiene B shift Tuesday to Friday 22.00-06.00, Saturday 18.00-02.00 Department: Hygiene Location: Main Street, Anwick, NG34 9SL Salary starts from: £33 654 per year, £647 a week Paid breaks. DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: To set up the machinery ready for production; make a thorough check of all process machinery, ensure all guards are in place and functioning correctly. To ensure that Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times. To ensure the correct product and equipment is available prior to start up so that the line is ready to commence production at the appointed time. To continuously monitor machinery to ensure it is running correctly and safely during production and to identify and report any mechanical faults or problems immediately to the Department Manager.
