Night Driver Manager

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

A well-established and growing transport company is seeking a reliable and experienced Night Driver/Manager to join their team in Hemel Hempstead. This company is known for delivering exceptional logistics solutions and fostering a supportive, team-focused work culture.

As a Night Driver/Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth nighttime operations. You'll be responsible for managing a team of drivers, coordinating schedules, and handling deliveries efficiently and safely throughout the night.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) driving licences.
• Proven experience in night driving and team management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Southeast UK routes and logistics operations.
• Flexibility to work five nights per week, with additional overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles during night shifts.
• Supervise and support the night driving team, providing guidance and direction.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and company standards.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes and schedules for maximum efficiency.
• Respond to and resolve any operational issues or emergencies that occur overnight.
• Liaise with management to maintain smooth communication across shifts.
