Job Title: Network Security Administrator Level 2Location: BelfastSalary: £45,000 basic + approx. £6,000 - £7,000 in shift/on-call and overtime. (£52,000 package)We are seeking a diligent and motivated Network Security Administrator to join our clients technical team in Belfast. In this crucial role, you will be the first line of defence for our network's health and performance. You will be responsible for monitoring our critical infrastructure, identifying potential issues, and providing essential 2nd line network and security support to ensure seamless operations.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a solid foundation in network operations within a supportive and professional setting. You will gain hands-on experience with industry-leading technologies and play a vital part in maintaining the stability and security of our systems.ResponsibilitiesActively monitor the network infrastructure using our advanced toolsets to ensure optimal performance and availability.Provide timely and effective 2nd line technical support, troubleshooting and resolving network-related incidents.Perform initial diagnostics on network hardware, including Cisco, F5, and Arista devicesStrong networking fundamentals and Protocols IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF knowledge. Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with clear and concise documentation.Maintain accurate records of network events, incidents, and resolutions.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our monitoring processes and procedures.AdditionalA valid Driver's Licence required.HoursEarly 06:00AM 14:00PM onsite.Mid 08:00AM 16:00PM can be done from home.
