Role: Network Engineer

Location: London (on-site with flexibility for out-of-hours work)

Salary: £50,000–£70,000 + bonus + benefits

Our client, a leading organisation in the telecommunications and IT services sector, is hiring a Network Engineer to support and evolve its growing network infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-performance network while contributing to service excellence and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

Commission, maintain and upgrade network infrastructure

Manage network changes and ensure minimal disruption

Monitor operational systems and proactively resolve issues

Maintain accurate technical documentation

Support incident, request and change resolution across the network estate

You’ll work closely with internal technical teams and customers to deliver reliable, scalable connectivity and ensure high service standards.

What we’re looking for

Experience in a service desk or network role within an ISP/MSP environment

Strong knowledge of routing, switching and wireless technologies

Understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model and MPLS/VPLS

Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostics tools

Exposure to Juniper or Cisco networking and security technologies

The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for developing their networking expertise in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
