Network Engineer | 24/7 Operations | Next Generation FirewallsA highly successful Managed Service Provider, offering Connectivity, Cloud, Infrastructure, and more is seeking a Network Engineer to join their 24/7 operations team.Location: London (24/7 shift pattern – 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)The RoleAs a 2nd Line Network Engineer, you’ll take ownership of Layer 2 and 3 customer tickets, changes, and requests, as well as working with Next Gen Firewalls. You would be working closely with and receiving training/guidance from senior engineers to resolve technical challenges.Troubleshoot and resolve customer network issues across switching, routing, wireless, and security environmentsManage support tickets, incidents, and changes with professionalism and accountabilityDeliver clear, consistent communication with customers and internal teamsContribute to project delivery by assisting with configuration and implementationMaintain accurate documentation including Visio diagrams and technical summariesWhat You’ll BringExperience with Next-Gen Firewalls - Fortigate, Palo Alto etcSolid understanding of networking principles (CCNA R&S / JNCIS-ENT level knowledge)Strong grasp of Layer 2 & 3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP)Cisco or Juniper experienceCisco, Juniper, or equivalent certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS)Firewall experience (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco)Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
