This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work on international missions while being based in the UK, contributing to innovative solutions in the energy sector.
Role Overview
Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to assess the integrity of materials and structures. Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement NDE strategies. Prepare detailed reports on NDE findings and recommendations. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical guidance and support to project personnel. Participate in project planning and risk assessment activities. Maintain NDE equipment and ensure proper calibration. Train and mentor junior staff in NDE techniques and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
Non-Destructive Testing: Proficient in various NDT methods. Fluent in English: Strong verbal and written communication skills. NDE Expertise: In-depth knowledge of NDE processes and standards. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to testing and reporting.
Education & Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field . Certifications: Relevant NDE certifications are advantageous. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience, with significant experience as an NDE Specialist in Oil & Gas projects.
