The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established, rapidly growing national organisation operating within the water hygiene, compliance and environmental services sector. With a strong reputation, nationwide reach and an expanding client base across commercial, industrial and public sector markets, our client is now looking to appoint an ambitious Business Development Manager to support and accelerate continued growth.
This is a hybrid role, offering genuine flexibility — working remotely from home while travelling nationally to meet clients and develop new business opportunities.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving new revenue across the UK. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building long-term relationships and converting prospects into loyal clients.
Key responsibilities include:

Identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities nationwide
*
Building and managing strong client relationships across multiple sectors
*
Managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract close
*
Preparing and delivering commercial proposals and presentations
*
Working closely with operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
*
Attending client meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions
*
Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
About You
We’re looking for a motivated, commercially driven individual who enjoys autonomy and thrives in a field-based environment.
You will ideally have:

Proven experience in Business Development / B2B sales, preferably within services
*
A confident, consultative sales approach
*
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
*
The ability to manage your own diary and work independently
*
Willingness to travel nationally as part of a hybrid role
*
A strong desire to earn commission and grow with a business long-term
