This Taunton secondary school is looking for a Music Teacher who can bring passion and creativity to their thriving music department. You’ll be delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4 and supporting the school’s varied musical enrichment programme, including choirs, instrumental ensembles, and musical theatre productions.

The Music Department is equipped with practice rooms, a dedicated performance space, Mac labs with composition software, and a recording studio. You’ll be joining a department that strongly encourages student expression, composition, and performance, while also focusing on the development of musical theory and appreciation.

Experience and Qualifications • Music degree with QTS • Ability to teach a broad and engaging curriculum to KS3/4 (KS5 an advantage) • Competency in using music technology and studio equipment • Experience running choirs, bands, or productions is desirable • Legal ability to work in the UK
