At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK.

Our client is looking for Multi Skilled Operatives to join their team on a 12‑week temp‑to‑permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be working on their Social Housing Repairs contracts in planned and reactive maintenance of void and tenanted properties, primarily in Knowsley but occasionally in Salford. Candidates should have experience working on wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens.

Responsibilities

  • Kitchen, bathroom & wet‑room replacements
  • Joinery – UPVC doors & windows, internal doors & frames, skirting & architrave, etc.
  • Plastering – patch plastering, damp repairs, full‑room plastering
  • Tiling – screed & vinyl tiles, ceramic wall tiling
  • Painting & decorating

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold a relevant trades qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent)
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (preferably clean)
  • Experience in Social Housing Repairs
  • Have, or be willing to have, a DBS check

Salary & Benefits

Pay rate – £20 per hour (CIS) for the first 12 weeks based on a 40‑hour week. Salary after 12 weeks – £34,000 per annum. Van and fuel card provided.
