Introduction

Acorn by Synergie are searching for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Knowsley, Liverpool, on a permanent night shift basis. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the role supports the efficient operation of the factory by delivering effective electrical and mechanical maintenance, ensuring plant reliability and consistent achievement of business targets in line with the planned maintenance programme.

Key Duties

Carry out routine physical and visual inspections of site machinery.

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks as issued by the Engineering Manager.

Respond promptly to machine breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.

Complete repairs, upgrades, and new equipment installations across the site.

Minimise equipment downtime through effective fault-finding and proactive maintenance.
