Key Skills
• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
• Understanding of PPM systems
The Role
You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules. There will be lots of fast moving machinery such as flow wrappers, automated box packaging robots, blue print box erectors, high speed baggers, labelling machines, together with packaging and conveyor systems.
The ideal candidate will also have experience of PLC systems as they have a variety of PLC controlled equipment on site and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment. There will be a great deal of technical development, which will aid your longer term career prospects within this instantly recognisable group. . You will report in to the Engineering Manager and this will lead to a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to a more senior role within this secure organisation.
