Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

£43,800 + 9% Pension contribution + 33 days holiday + OT

Double Days shift rota with a short shift on Fridays

Based in Birstall

The Company:

Part of a global manufacturing group, this market leading business produces instantly recognisable brands. The site in Birstall is fully automated and benefits from huge investment from the larger group in terms of plant upgrades, new machinery installations and automation.

They are currently looking to recruit a multi-skilled maintenance engineer into the department.

The Role:

The multi-skilled maintenance engineer will:

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance across a fully automated manufacturing plant
• Fault find on electrical and mechanical systems including PLC controlled machinery
• Look into the root cause of breakdowns and put long term fixes in place
• Get involved in projects to improve the reliability of machinery and reduce down time

Required Experience:

The multi-skilled maintenance engineer can be mechanically or electrically biased but must have skills in the other discipline

You will have experience of maintaining industrial machinery within a manufacuting environment

An NVQ 3 or C&G equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering is a must. xbpsjku
