Remit:

* As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for providing effective maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of injection moulding machines, associated robotics, automation equipment and site facilities.

* The successful candidate will join a modern, clean, and highly automated manufacturing environment, working with the latest injection moulding machines, robotics, and automation systems.

Role:

* Carry out planned PPM & TPM on injection moulding machinery, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.

* Respond quickly to breakdowns, identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions

* Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding, including hydraulics and pneumatics

* Ensure machines are production-ready in line with manufacturing schedules

* Maintain accurate maintenance records and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

* Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment

* Working closely with production and engineering teams to drive process improvements

* Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards at all times

* Supporting training and knowledge sharing within the maintenance team

Experience Requirements:

* Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally within plastics / injection moulding or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

* Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and automation.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.

* Experience with PLC fault finding and programming – Desirable

* Knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement principles – Desirable

* Proficient in planned and reactive maintenance.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

* Strong health & safety awareness.
