Salary: £44,000 per year
Shift Pattern: Monday Friday Double Days 06:0014:00 / 14:0022:00
Early Finish Fridays: 06:0012:30 / 12:3019:00
Holiday: 33 Days Annual Leave
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x

The Opportunity
A well-established and growing food manufacturing business is looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment where you will play a key role in maintaining high-performing machinery and ensuring smooth factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment

  • Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime

  • Fault find on both electrical and mechanical systems

  • Work closely with production teams to maintain efficient operations

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department

  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and food manufacturing standards

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent in either Discipline

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment is beneficial

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting

  • Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) preferred
