Join a leading UK bakery producing iconic bread products enjoyed by families across the nation! We're seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical or mechanical bias) to support our engineering team.
Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Reactive and planned preventative maintenance on high-speed production and packaging equipment
- Fault finding and repairs (mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics)
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards
- Working closely with production teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment
Experience/Qualifications - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in food manufacturing, FMCG or similar (bakery experience advantageous)
- Multi-skilled with qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC in Engineering)
- Strong fault-finding skills on PLC-controlled systems (Siemens/Allen Bradley knowledge a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality
- Immediate availability preferred
