Location: Telford Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity
We're recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-invested manufacturing site with brand-new machinery and a strong focus on planned and preventative maintenance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys fault finding, continuous improvement, and working on modern equipment within a team that prioritises engineering standards over firefighting.
You'll also have the opportunity to attend OEM training, giving you direct insight into the latest machinery and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability and uptime Carry out effective fault finding and root cause analysis on mechanical systems Maintain and repair equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, chains, and motors Support continuous improvement activities and machinery upgrades Work closely with production to minimise downtime and improve performance Ensure all engineering work is completed in line with H&S and quality standards
What We're Looking For
Strong background in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment Solid mechanical fault-finding skills (electrical knowledge beneficial) Experience working with PPM systems and a proactive maintenance mindset Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team A driven, hands-on engineer who takes ownership of their work
