Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the Engineering Team to deliver a robust maintenance programme. This includes planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance across all production areas. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with technical and safety standards, and provide support for engineering projects. Working 4 on 4 off, you will have good electrical knowledge as well as experience in maintaining plant equipment - salary circa £45000.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute daily planned and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of production equipment. Support cross-functional teams to meet operational KPIs and drive efficiency. Deliver a fast, effective response to production breakdowns and technical issues. Pursue personal development and contribute to the training of colleagues. Oversee and coordinate external contractors during engineering works. Foster strong working relationships with production teams to minimise downtime. Manage engineering stores efficiently, minimising waste and controlling costs. Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping in engineering areas. Accurately log incidents, breakdowns, and downtime in engineering records. Collaborate with supervisors to manage labour, materials, and spare parts effectively.
