Job Description
Korn Ferry is proud to be partnering with a well-established organisation operating within a highly specialised manufacturing environment. With a long history of technical expertise and consistent investment in innovation, the business plays a critical role in supporting a range of advanced sectors, both in the UK and internationally.
This heavy engineering company is embarking on a large-scale growth & transformation journey, with considerable investment from its parent company. As the company continues to grow and evolve, it is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their Ellesmere Port site.
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will have the responsibility to ensure the manufacturing equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably — minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement across the site. This will give you the opportunity to contribute to products and technologies that have far-reaching impact across multiple industries.
How you’ll add value:
Deliver hands on maintenance support to keep production running smoothly and maximise uptime.
Quickly diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues across diverse equipment.
Carry out and improve PPM tasks to boost performance and extend equipment life.
Champion a safe working environment, following all Health & Safety requirements.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance reliability, efficiency, and quality.
Support engineering projects, upgrades, and site-wide improvements.
Maintain tools, parts, and documentation to high standards.
About you:
You are already an experienced multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias (approx. 70/30 mechanical to electrical).
You have experience with systems such as temperature control, vacuum, water/air cooling, dust extraction, and 3-phase power.
You have a strong commitment to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
A positive attitude, self-motivation, and willingness to learn and grow with the business.
What you can expect:
Competitive salary
25 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays
Healthcare and life assurance
Pension scheme
Ongoing training and development opportunities
A supportive, forward-thinking engineering team making a real difference every day
