Job Description:\n\nJob Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer\nLocation: Low Moor, Bradford\nWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (overtime available)\n\nJob Description:\n\nWe are looking for a genuinely multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team in Low Moor, Bradford. This is a diverse, hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll be expected to work across both mechanical and electrical systems.\n\nYou’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, supporting continuous production, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nMechanical & Electrical Maintenance:\n\nMaintain and repair mechanical systems: belts, chains, bearings, pipework, pumps, valves, and filters.\nWork on pneumatic and hydraulic systems including solenoids, actuators, rams, and compressors.\nFault-find and repair basic electrical issues, including sensors, switches, fuses, relays, and overloads.\nCarry out safe isolation of electrical equipment and support minor electrical installations or modifications.\nUnderstand and work with steam systems, boilers, control valves, and water softening equipment.\nDiagnose and resolve faults in automated and computer-controlled machinery.\nSupport continuous improvement and preventative maintenance initiatives.\nEssential Skills & Experience:\n\nDemonstrable experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing or industrial environments.\nStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities.\n17th / 18th Edition qualified\nConfident working safely with 3-phase systems, basic control panels, and low-voltage equipment.\nSkilled in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical documentation.\nComfortable working across a wide range of systems from pneumatics and hydraulics to electrical controls.\nDesirable Skills & Experience:\n\nFamiliarity with PLC-controlled equipment (understanding inputs/outputs, basic diagnostics).\nExperience with steam and compressed air systems.\nExperience with continuous improvement or lean manufacturing practices.\nPersonal Attributes:\n\nVersatile, hands-on, and proactive.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\nAble to work independently and collaboratively in a team.\nReliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.\nIf you're a capable and well-rounded Multi-Skilled Engineer looking to bring your talents to a forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you
