Salary: £50,000£51,000 per annum
OTE: £60,000+ with overtime
Shift: 4 on / 4 off Rotating Days & Nights (06:0018:00 / 18:0006:00)

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias), youll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of automated production machinery.

Youll support improvement projects, assist with new equipment installations, and help maintain high levels of machine reliability within a fast-moving manufacturing site.

This role suits an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working with modern automation and contributing to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated production machinery

  • Fault-finding across electrical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics

  • Support on PLC-controlled equipment (training provided)

  • Assist with engineering projects and new machinery installations

  • Drive improvements in reliability, efficiency and plant performance

What Were Looking For

  • Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  • Maintenance background within manufacturing, FMCG, food or similar

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability

  • Interest in automation, robotics and modern engineering technology

  • Proactive, team-focused approach
