Job Title: Multi-skilled Engineer \n Location: London/Barbican\n Hourly Rate: £21-22 per hour\n Working Hours: Monday to Friday\n\nJob Overview:\n\nRG Set Square are looking for a Multi-skilled Engineer for our client in the EC2 postcode, this is a long term Temp role.\n Reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisor on-site, you will be responsible for carrying out remedial works and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within the site premises. Your role will ensure that all technical work is completed to a high standard, in compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, Gas Safe Regulations, and industry standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConducting remedial works and PPMs across the site.\n\nEnsuring all technical work adheres to company policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.\n\nPerforming maintenance and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, and other building installations.\n\nModifying, maintaining, and repairing all relevant systems and appliances.\n\nPreparing technical reports and certifications as needed.\n\nLiaising with management and the client regarding works, schedules, and issues.\n\nResponding to customer requests for support and advice, providing effective resolutions or referring to the appropriate team.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nRight to work in the UK.\n\n18th Edition Electrical qualification.\n\nStrong knowledge and experience with Mechanical Services, Fire Alarm Systems, BMS (Trend), and LV systems.\n\nProven ability to analyse and resolve engineering issues and perform servicing on gas installations.\n\nFlexible, adaptable, and customer-focused with a positive, "can-do" attitude.\n\nHonest, with a high level of integrity in all work-related activities.\n\nAbility to provide training and ongoing support to apprentices and trainees.\n\nExperienced in the operation, maintenance, and interrogation of related systems.\n\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.\n\nAbility to resolve customer queries and concerns effectively and promptly.\n\nStrong written skills (including spelling, grammar, and report writing).\n\nProficiency in computer use, including spreadsheets (Excel), and word processing (Word).\n\nBenefits:\n\nCompetitive hourly rate of £21-22 per hour.\n\nMonday to Friday working schedule.\n\nOpportunity to work in a dynamic environment with ongoing training and support.\n\nRG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
