Multi skilled Engineer - Cambridgeshire
Salary; c.£50k - £55k
Hours: 5 days per week - 40-60 hours
Commutable from: Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Peterborough, King's Lynn, Newmarket, Huntingdon, St Neots, March, Downham Market, Wisbech, Soham, Littleport, Thetford, Brandon, St Ives, Chatteris, Ely, Mildenhall.
Are you a proactive multi skilled engineer or maintenance engineer or electrical engineer looking for your next move in engineering? We may have the role for you.
We are partnering with a fast paced, varied, and well-established food company who are looking for engineers to join there fast paced engineering team.
Key responsibilities:
* Using the company's system to log and plan maintenance jobs
* Work outdoors in the summer season on a vast range of food processing and packaging equipment
* Reactive maintenance in a timely manner
* Working in a team and supporting seasonal workers
* Daily maintenance of the equipment on site
* Occasional international travel to interact with equipment
Key skills/experience:
* Multi skilled engineer or relevant level 3 engineering qualifications
* Electrically biased is preferred but mechanically biased is acceptable if you have electrical experience.
* Experience with low voltage machinery and prior experience in the food or farm industries
* Practical with a hands-on attitude
* Willing to work in challenging conditions
* Adaptable for seasonal workflows and a proactive mindset.
