Kettering, Northamptonshire £23.63 per hour (circa £30,000) Saturday & Sunday | 06:00 – 18:00

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a modern, growing manufacturing site on a permanent weekend day shift.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable role working just 2 days per week (24 hours) while earning a strong salary, with the chance to be part of a business investing heavily in automation, equipment, and site expansion.

You’ll play a key role in keeping production running during peak weekend operations, where engineering support is critical to maintaining output and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Weekend Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

Responding quickly to breakdowns and minimising downtime Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Supporting production teams with technical issues Working on a range of automated production equipment Assisting with ongoing improvements and project work Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with manufacturing standards The Equipment You’ll Work On
