We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Field Maintenance Engineer to join our Agriculture Estates team. This is a multi-skilled position with a strong mechanical & electrical focus, ideally suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in outdoor environments, and can confidently maintain and repair a diverse range of agricultural and estate-based assets.
You will work across our estate locations carrying out planned preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting with electrical work where qualified. The role involves working independently, liaising with estate maintenance coordinators, and ensuring equipment and facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct mechanical maintenance, fault finding and repairs on agricultural machinery, buildings, equipment and estate infrastructure.
Deliver PPM schedules to minimise downtime and ensure operational readiness.
Support with electrical testing, repairs, and installations in line with certification and competency.
Diagnose breakdowns efficiently and implement effective solutions.
Carry out maintenance on estate buildings and poultry farms/sheds.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work complies with relevant H&S legislation.
Work flexibly across multiple estate sites, responding to urgent issues when required.
