This role is commutable from Quorn, Loughborough, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Shepshed, Syston, Glenfield, Ibstock, Sileby, Kegworth, Nottingham, Derby, Grantham, Matlock, Tunstead, Dene, Ashbourne, Oakham, Bardon Hill and the surrounding areas. This role will beworking from3pm 1am Monday to Friday.Wereworking hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment anditsimportant that our people come from a variety ofdifferent backgrounds.Main ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to Plant Supervisor. TheMulti Skilled Quarry Operative will work on the day-to-day operations driving mobile plant, you will work with the team to the site plan, ensure that stocks are maintained and replenished in good time.Your responsibilities as theMulti Skilled Quarry Operativewill include (not exhaustive):Operating Mobile Plant on siteWorking with other members of the team to ensure that customers getgood qualitymaterial and on-time deliveriesAssist the Supervisor with meeting daily/weekly production targetsFollow SHE policies and proceduresEnsure Plantconforms with safety requirements at all timesHealth, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilitiesInspections on the plant and acting on defects and implement remedial actionEnsure that plant availability ismaximisedWorking to keep housekeeping around site to a high standardThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within an Industrial, Factory or similar environment as an operative or labourer.
