Job Description

I am working with a client based in Oxford who are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician.\n\nYou will be required to carry out work of a routine non-complex nature, responsible for minor repairs and routine planned maintenance activities as directed by management. Ensuring compliance with the clients safety standards and procedures. Taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment.

To carry out minor electrical, plumbing and building repairs, assisting other colleagues in the maintenance and improvement of the client estate\n\nEXPERIENCE\n\n* Previous basic Electrical, Fabric, Carpentry and Plumbing experience\n\n* At least 2 years relevant experience in a customer focused technical working environment\n\n* Experience of H & S procedures & requirements. COSHH, Working at Heights, dynamic Risk Assessment etc.\n\n* Experience of working in a high profile, customer-focused environment\n\n* Experience of working with allied building trades\n\n* Assisting with maintenance of heating and ventilating plant, domestic hot, cold and drinking water services and major engineering plant.\n\nIt is a shift based job over a 2 week period - \n\nEssential Qualifications \n\nNVQ/City & Guilds in relevant building trade subjects or suitable equivalent.\nCity & Guilds 214 Part 1 & Part 2 or suitable equivalent Desirable \n\nHealth & Safety Qualified i.e. IOSH and/or NEBOSH \n\nThere is parking on site free of charge and they will also help apply for free congestion charge permit.
