A well-established manufacturing business in the DN20 area is seeking an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a stable and supportive environment, offering long-term security and competitive pay.


The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems across the site, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you'll play a key role in fault finding, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical fault finding and diagnostics on production machinery

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

  • Supporting mechanical engineers when required

  • Driving continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards


Shift Pattern

  • Rotating 3-shift pattern:

    • 6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday to Friday) - 2 weeks

    • 2:00pm - 12:00am (Monday to Thursday) - 1 week


Salary & Benefits

  • Basic salary: £42,840

  • Late shift allowance: £1,300 annually

About You

  • Electrically biased with relevant engineering qualifications

  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
