If youre qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or freshly out of an apprenticeship and have experience in any of the following, please apply; welding, bearings, shafts, lathes, mills, motors, pumps, belts, chain drives etc. Ideally in some form of maintenance or fitting role but any would be considered.ResponsibilitiesThis is a permanent Days Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position, working 4 on 4 off 6am to 6pmYour role will include:Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.Assisting with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.Assist in developing the agility maintenance systemEnsure machine safety standards are upheld and critical spares are maintainedIt really is a varied role and the machinery will be made up and you will deal with belts, chain drives, bearings, shafts, mixers, conveyors, motors, PLC fault finding and sensors. Anyone with mechanical or electrical skills in some of these areas would be highly desirable, along with working in a mechanical, electrical, multi skilled maintenance role or fresh out of an apprenticeship.RequirementsCompleted a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical, Electrical Engineering qualificationsExperience with mechanical or electrical maintenance work within an industrial and/or manufacturing environmentAny experience of belts, chains, bearings, pumps, motors, gears, hydraulics, pneumatic's, welding, workshops skills (lathes and/or mills) would be desirable training and support can be given on some areasProactive work attitude and keen to get stuck inFriendly and adaptable working attitudeIf this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Jane at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
