Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45,000 Permanent: 40 hours per week Hours: Mon – Thu 07:00 – 16:00 / Fri 07:00 – 13:00 Location: Newport
The Role
We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a modern, well‑invested rolling stock manufacturing and maintenance site, supporting critical infrastructure and advanced production activities.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site electrical infrastructure supporting depot operations.
Undertake electrical installation, inspection, testing and fault-finding activities on facilities, plant and services.
Support site infrastructure upgrades and improvement projects, including the transition to 25kV power systems
Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage PM activities through the CMMS system. Essential
Strong electrical maintenance background within an industrial, manufacturing, depot or safety critical environment
Electrical apprenticeship or minimum NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline.
