Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: North Shields Salary: Up To £56,000 basic + overtime & Bonus Shifts: Panama (Days & Nights) Hours: 42 hours per weekThe OpportunityWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and globally recognised manufacturing business within the FMCG sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their site in North Shields.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and forward-thinking company, offering long-term progression and a strong benefits package.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out mechanical fault finding, repair, and overhaulDiagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systemsComplete planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Electrical fault finding using drawings to diagnose hard-wired faultsPLC fault finding (Siemens TIA Portal desirable)Installation and commissioning of electro-mechanical equipmentUse of machine shop equipment including lathe and milling machinesWelding (MIG and stick) where requiredRequirementsTime-served Maintenance Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)Multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical experienceExperience within a manufacturing or FMCG environmentPLC fault finding experience (any platform considered)HNC in Engineering desirableAbility to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environmentIf this role is of interest, please apply.
