You will become an expert on the machinery and support your colleagues to produce high quality results.You will be hands-on with the day to day operations of our manufacturing site; operate various factory machinery, equipment and forklifts whilst ensuring high levels of health and safety at all times.We will provide you with full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to enable you to safely and effectively work as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer where you willAbout the RoleCarry out essential maintenance working through a programme of PPMAssist in developing the agility maintenance systemAttend breakdownsEnsure machine safety standards are kept to the highest level and ensure critical spares are maintainedInstall / maintain electrical & electro-mechanical plant machineryImprove factory OEE through development and innovation of the production facilityOperate a preventative electrical maintenance systemProgram Siemens / other PLC equipmentUse various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faultsPromote Lean thinking and actively look for ways to improve efficienciesActively contribute to the creation and review of RA and SSOWEnsure adherence to Wienerbergers quality system & standards in accordance with BSEN ISO 9001Hours of Work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6.00pm to 6.00am (nights) and Thursday, 6.00pm to 1.00amAbout YouPreferably you will be apprentice trained, but with a minimum level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline.
