This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, fast-paced operation with heavy investment in automation, people, and long-term career development.The Role You'll be part of a shift-based engineering team, responsible for maintaining highly automated systems to ensure maximum up time and performance. The role is hands-on, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include:Electrical fault finding on automated machinery and conveyor systemsPlanned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdownsWorking with PLC-controlled equipment (fault finding, not programming)Supporting mechanical maintenance when requiredEnsuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site standardsContributing to reliability improvements and continuous improvement initiativesAbout You This role is ideal for an apprentice-trained engineer with experience in fast-paced environments such as Food, FMCG, or Automated Distribution.You'll ideally have:A completed an apprenticeshipElectrical maintenance and fault-finding experienceBackground in Food, FMCG, logistics, or automated warehousing environmentsExperience working with automation, conveyors, sensors, drives, and motorsBasic PLC fault-finding knowledge (Siemens / Allen Bradley / similar)A proactive, team-focused approach to engineeringWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary of £50,0004 on 4 off shift pattern (days & nights)Strong benefits packageLong-term stability within a growing, multi-site UK organisationOngoing training and development opportunitiesThis is a great opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to work with modern automation in a stable, professional environment.JBRP1_UKTJ
