Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias Preferred) Location: Wrexham Salary: £45,000 – £47,000 per annum Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts – Days & Nights) Industry: Food Manufacturing Sponsorship: Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship available About the Role We are working with a well-established food manufacturing business in Wrexham who are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment where you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production machinery. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site Diagnose and fault-find on electrical, mechanical, and control systems Work on a range of food production and packaging machinery Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety and health & safety standards Assist with installations, upgrades, and project work Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Requirements Multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical or mechanical background Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) Experience working in a manufacturing environment (food/FMCG desirable) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Knowledge of PLC systems (fault finding advantageous) Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards within manufacturing Ability to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £45,000 – £47,000 4 on 4 off shift pattern offering excellent work-life balance Opportunity to join a stable and growing food manufacturing business Ongoing training and development opportunities Supportive team environment Additional Information Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates Candidates must be willing to relocate to or commute to Wrexham If you’re a motivated maintenance engineer looking for your next opportunity within a secure and growing business, we’d love to hear from you
