MRO Electronics Technician (Aerospace)Location: Coventry, Ansty ParkHours: 37.5 hours / Permanent Day shiftSalary: £42,000 - £43,800The Role Are you an experienced electronics technician who enjoys fault-finding down to component level and bringing complex systems back to life?We're hiring for an MRO Electronics Technician to join a specialist aerospace team focused on the repair and overhaul of electronic braking system components.This role is heavily electronics-focused, with the opportunity to broaden into electro-mechanical work overtime.What You'll Be DoingYour work will focus on diagnosing, repairing, and testing electronic units, often working on legacy systems where strong fundamentals and hands-on experience really matter.Other duties include:Fault-finding to component levelRepairing and replacing electronic components (including soldering)Disassembling and rebuilding assembliesTesting and validating units using equipment such as oscilloscopesInterpreting engineering drawings and schematicsIdentifying and pinpointing component failuresCompleting documentation and maintaining traceabilityOpportunity to support electro-mechanical work alongside a wider team as skills develop.What We're Looking ForEssential:Strong electronics repair experience (MRO, manufacturing, or similar)Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skillsConfident with soldering at component levelAbility to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawingsHands-on experience with tools and test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes)Background in electronics (education or hands-on experience)Experience in aerospace, automotive, rail, or other safety-critical industriesJBRP1_UKTJ
