About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised Motorsport Travel Operations Manager to support the coordination of international travel logistics across the Formula 1 calendar.
This role sits within the operations team and acts as the central coordination point between internal departments, travel suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery of travel arrangements across multiple live race events.
A dedicated travel agency partner manages much of the booking execution. This role focuses on coordination, oversight, communication, accuracy, and problem-solving across fast-moving international operations.

Requirements
Essential
Experience in travel coordination, operations, logistics, or a similar fast-paced environment
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Experience managing or coordinating group travel (70100 people per event preferred)
Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
High attention to detail, particularly around travel logistics (flights, transfers, accommodation)
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Familiarity with SharePoint
Ability to manage changes, disruptions, and last-minute amendments
Willingness to support weekend on-call cover (TOIL system)
Ability to work across multiple live projects and destinations simultaneously
Basic understanding of visa processes and requirements
Desirable
Experience using Amadeus or similar travel systems
Knowledge of airport codes and flight routing
Understanding of hotel groups and large-scale accommodation booking
Experience working with travel suppliers or agencies
Exposure to motorsport, live events, or international logistics environments
The Role
Act as the main internal point of contact for all travel-related coordination across multiple F1 race events running concurrently
Manage and prioritise travel requests from internal teams, ensuring accuracy and timely execution via approved travel partners
Coordinate group travel requirements (typically 70100 travellers per race) through our established supplier network
Maintain clear and consistent communication between operations, client services, senior management, and travel providers
Ensure travel changes, updates, and disruptions are communicated effectively across all stakeholders
Oversee visa checks (completed via external partners), ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant prior to travel
Support the allocation and coordination of ground transport, airport transfers, and accommodation requirements
Work collaboratively with a roster of 34 preferred travel suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness and service quality
Support race build weekends with on-call availability (via TOIL system)
Provide UK-side travel support for overseas events, with on-the-ground issues supported locally by project managers
Maintain accurate records using Excel and SharePoint, ensuring information is consistently up to date and accessible
Support a high-performance, fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly across multiple live events
