MOT Tester – Daventry

Our client, a respected Vehicle Service Centre in Daventry, is actively seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join their professional team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced MOT Testers to work within a supportive environment while achieving strong earning potential.

Benefits:

Salary up to £34,000 basic, with an OTE of £40,000
Bonus scheme based on efficiency and quality of work
Monday to Friday working week with 1-in-2 Saturdays (a day off during the week when working Saturday)

Conduct MOT tests on vehicles (Class 4 & 7 only), ensuring compliance with DVSA standards
Accurately complete all required documentation and record test findings as an MOT Tester
Identify vehicle issues and advise customers on repair or maintenance needs
Ensure all tests are performed in accordance with legal and safety standards
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Support the team with additional duties where applicableRequirements:

Valid MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7) – essential for the MOT Tester position
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent – preferred
Prior experience as an MOT Tester within an independent garage or main dealership
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
